From: Share in the Sun (1996)
World of Eden
All darkness irrigated
And digested the earth
As if freely suspended
In dust and haze the grove
Rested in the wind's waves
Meal in dark foliage
That like a treasure guarded all
The laments — the Hesperides gleamed
And held back the light from the dark
Whatever the fruits stored from earth
Applying garden to the well of whispers
Would break in the morning and open
Stone world of the Hesperides
With oracles and gold
