The best source for bibliography relating to translations and critical studies of the poets included in this volume is Dia M.L. Philippides' invaluable Census of Modem Greek literature. Check-list of English-Language Sources Useful in the Study of Modern Greek literature (1824-1987) (New Haven: Modern Greek Studies Association 1990), a revised and updated version of which is forthcoming.
