4th DIMENSION has four A4 pages stapled together and looks like it has come from another age. I really feel that if editors are going to publish other people’s poems that they should publish them in the best way they possibly can. Having got that off my chest let's come to the poems. Few, I'm afraid, really engaged me at all but an exception was Les Merton's “Sitting in father's chair,” which lightened up, for me anyway, a rather bleak issue –
“I stifled a sob and tried to act
like father would have done
by putting my arms out to comfort...”
