                   in the bath
Yoga
& meditation
a purse she’d had stolen
the wild angry chase
that made her feel better
and the minutes ticked away ...

                              and we never probed
                              we never explored the depths
                              made ‘the surge of connection
                              in the space between flesh’
                              we never returned
                              to where the world seemed sane.
