Parenting
The unqualified mother
drags her daughter along
by her puny upper arm.
“Stop draggin’ yer feet
yer fuckin’ cow” she says.
The child is crying,
her little legs can’t keep up.
“If you don’t stop crying,
I’ll send you to a home, yer little bitch”
says the demented mother.
This is just one of the threats
the child has had to endure
all her short life.
Twenty years later,
sectioned on a psychiatric ward,
that same child
plots her revenge on society.
“I’ll teach ‘em” she broods.
