This is a new re-packaged re-issue to celebrate the 50th anniversary edition of the Khushwant Singh classic. And as a bonus, it includes rare archival, beautifully framed, fantastically raw, moving, subtly textured, haunting black-and-white photographs of the Partition by Time-Life photographer Margaret Bourke-White. Even if you possess an earlier edition of Train to Pakistan, this slightly larger format edition is well worth possessing both for its writing and for the incredible images they contain.
