Coffee-stained wallpaper
Turns the sea a dirty grey and
Lumps of hardened blue-tack
Smear your face into a palm-tree.
The holiday of our relationship
Ended all those years ago.
We stand, fixated by the fluttering figures,
Too scared to turn off the projector.
