but take the character of sky or gold
or blood, bearing in stained and long
shaking fingers, the impress
of flapping black wings:
migratory birds.
Change by self division causes abnormality
into ice and water,
or Medusean fields of solid green scum,
as water self aware
changes from within.
But you are normal, quick shifting, thoughtless:
