No Way Down
Trapped by a belt, no responsibilities, scenic expectations.
Over cities saddened by such sick contradictions,
Feed waste through a tube. Fed plastic cased plastic food.
Trapped by a belt a ยง300, looks like there s no way down.
Incredible shrinking clouds ripple like an angelic sea,
We fly like birds through the blue. So free, so free.
Then pulled back to my reality and this cardboard cutout world,
Trapped by a belt, in a man-made ecosystem,
Man is such an ugly creator.
“They’re fattening us up” hysterically I scream,
But everyone’s caught up in all consuming dreams,
Where love is made of metal, hope is made of glass,
This cold objective reality kills the individual in a second.
“This film’s fucking shit, this food tastes like puke!”
I manically scream trying to penetrate their dreams,
But the only one who could understand,
Is a thousand miles below.
Involved in a thoroughly different kind of show.
Trapped by a belt and the burden of my thoughts,
It looks like there’s no way down.
