I am in the picture but also I am not.
You can see me in the detail, my choice of colour
and the instruments I use to play my music.
You can also see me in the greater distance,
in a landscape lit up with hindsight and explanation.
But all the space in between is you and your thoughts
reacting to my brushstrokes and painting your own path.
