Invisible Jessica
Bored with shadows falling
in sane rain puddles
on the ground in slipstream curves,
Jessica spoke to her friends
with magic.
Flying up to their clear windows,
she would tap like the rain used to.
Before her friends awoke
she would become as clear
as their windows.
“Eventually,” she figured,
“madness should set in.
Let’s see how they like it.”
And Jessica laughed,
all the way through neon thoughts
and starmade queries.
She left them perfected,
like she had been.
That was how she put it:
“Perfected.”
