Taxes on Pasties

On Tuesday I was listening to the radio station called LBC and the government never ceases to amaze me. With all the problems that are going on these days, e.g. knife crime, shooting etc., one of the government’s main agenda items was about taxing Cornish pasties. Are they having a laugh?

I mean Cornish pasties. I mean there are more important things for the government to discuss and they talking about Cornish pasties. I mean, do me a favour!

As a citizen of London, I am more concerned with the violence that’s occurring, not just in London but all over the country, and the government is worried about taxes on Cornish pasties.

This week, there was a young 18 year old found dead in Woolford, west London, and another teenager was found in a similar state in Croydon. He was shot at random. Also last Friday in Pimlico near Victoria, there was another young victim of a gun shooting. This gun problem and knife crime is a big problem which has been going on for years and the government are talking about pasties, having a laugh; a tin bath laugh!
