Of the meeting at the river
The moment the sun hovers between
Trees and sand narcissist
In the water
Always the train arrives at the station
The first voices in the corridors, the first cigarette, the loudspeaker
Incredible glances on a Sunday for a trip to mythology;
The crowd, hands, limbs, hypnotists' eyes
Always August
Your mother next door vomiting and you fighting
For the shift between lakes, swamps, dead
In school books forgotten till September
In bodies immense intact
Maintained in life
Through the mythology of August
— Your father signed a while ago
Your grounding
It is August.
