The Unicorn Mood
She is so much more than a brilliant fiction:
an indescribable no-known-colour-in-the-rainbow delight, white
breathing of the vapours of a pristine day
light of the forest, warmth of a star, passion
flank-bright, white incessant, lines
focussing to the point of the spiralled tusk -
she flows from my dreams, turns up in a brilliant way, surprise
seduces the mind to a perfect hue, inspires, gifts;
her sound is a bright tinkle of distilled bells, the slight
innocence in the head of a dancing-in-the-street, state; essence
a habit in imagination, made real, sweet on the perfect
top-of-the-cycle kind of day, joy :-)
but then she goes and sleeps, an invisible ghost, a tease when I break
the plot, wreck
the day, smash
my life on the cold
way out of sanity
