Love in the Fast Lane
Women don’t go for men who do not drive.
Nor do they languish looks upon those who
without them. Sex is competitive:
men without women lack imperative
throttle. Sad must be or inadequate in the sack.
What woman wants a pedestrian on her back?
Mostly, love is unrequited.
Rare the occasions two become united
in bed and, out of it, remain so.
Chance or circumstance is enough to blow
the best laid plans. Distrust those who make
of sex in the second person or past tense.
Love in the fast lane entails a lust
for the chase, an engine with plenty thrust.
Freudians talk out of their asses
in my experience; fast girls do not make passes
at slow coaches or solitary walkers.
They’re hot for acceleration, exhausters.
