The Scrap
His two little brothers were royal shits
and one black afternoon
during a bit of a giggling scuffle
his brothers came and joined in,
jumped on us and started
beating and kicking too,
‘TAKE THA, NOBED!’
‘ARR, FUCK OFF!’
‘YOU FUCK OFF!’
‘ARREY!’
‘ARR!’
and in no time
someone had kicked my mate
in his still pure gonads
and then came his squeal,
‘EEEEAAHHH!’ as he
rolled out of the scrap
and onto his side,
hands clutched there,
knees up in his quivering chin.
‘Well don’t clutch em fer god’s sake,’
I warned,
‘that’ll only make it werse,’
but he didn’t listen
and his brothers were in stitches
and his mum was not,
so I left shortly afterwards.
It was bloody school tomorrow
and I’d have to have a bloody bath tonight.
