The Laurel's Osculation
Sanctuary of the river that descends
With mysterious curves concealing
Foliage and flowers; never again to awake
In a god's petrified embrace
The water that covers it attends
The entrance to a world brackish from lethe
Laden with roots and branches,
A labyrinth of old dreams and
Images that in its flow the river
Leafs through sculpting the stones
When amidst the ex-votos and oracles
With flashes of silvers and gold
Amidst promises, in relief arises
A stele of silence carved by man
Its root is cooled by the branch
Obedient to the laurel's osculation
