Stone-wall
Your emotional baggage is heavy.
Helter-skelter storm clouds
fret on Gallow Hill.
Salt and pepper relationship
dissolved in thick gravy.
The rope is in your hands.
Guilt tries to influence your intoxicated mind.
Poison drips like flotsam
on the stone-wall of your brain.
Torpid you flounder in a zombie trance.
The rope is still in your hands.
You want to swing free of common sense.
Deliberate procrastination.
Go then, put the rope around
your lily white neck.
Plummet and kiss goodbye to me,
the siren, the temptress,
the one who wore your pain.
Found sunshine in zigzag storm clouds.
Swam around the sewage to enter a lagoon.
We nestled on the sandbank, secure, and
discovered hidden treasures.
Ruby red lips and, sapphire eyes.
The sparrow flew as an eagle.
Relinquish paradise,
take a bite of the apple.
Hang your sorrows on Gallow Hill.
Stricken by grief, I wait,
tormented in dreams by snake ropes.
The rope is waiting and you,
the dagger, slice the core of my
seedless heart.
