The substantial 212-page King's Lynn Writers, An Anthology, is an excellent vehicle for short stories, which are notoriously difficult to get published. These are interspersed with poems. Notable is Gina Gutteridge's witty The Eyes Have It. Predatory eyes are compared; 'the smouldering fox with eyes of chestnut...' and her Stream of Consciousness. This is a substantial and worthwhile venture.
