Rise up and Walk
To the memory of René Koltz
I speak of the beloved
He is everywhere
With no way out his feet
plead a new destiny
When I lower my lids
see him walk
through town
held by my gaze
The slightest flutter
of my lashes
trips him
and kills him again
before my very eyes
I have gathered
the still warm and trembling
pieces of him
There where nothing is lost
nothing is created
I want to bring him back to life
Do not save me
one day
like him
I shall return
In the meantime
I shall sink
into the earth
toward his skeleton
I shall resemble him
he will recognise me
