Manólis Pratikákis (1943-)

Manólis Pratikákis was born in Ierapeta in Crete. He studied medicine and practises as a psychiatrist. He has published the following volumes of poetry: Poetry 1971-74 (1974); The Counterfeiters (1976); Libido (1978); Night Duty (1980); Moonstruck Girl (1980); The Writing's Body (1982); Genealogy (1984); Appearance of Being Colours (1993); Lekythos (1995) and The Dormition and Resurrection of the Bodies of Domenicos (1997), which has been proposed by Greece for the 1999 Aristeion European Literary Prize.
