Peter Sansom is editor of The Poetry Business and The North magazine. His collection, January, is published by Carcanet. He is also author of Writing Poetry, published by Bloodaxe.
Sue Butler won The Poetry Business Competition with her pamphlet, The Mammoth's Knee.
Janet Fisher co-edits The North with Peter Sansom. Her collection, Listening to Dancing, was published by Smith/Doorstop in 1996.
Linda France's latest collection is Storyville (Bloodaxe 1997). She edited Sixty Women Poets for Bloodaxe in 1993.
Tony Curtis is Professor of Poetry at the University of Glamorgan. His publications include Taken For Pearls and War Voices, both from Seren Books.
Mandy Precious is writer-in-residence at Wakefield Hospice. Her poems have been published in magazines and anthologies. She was a winner of the BBC Alfred Bradley Bursary, which resulted in her play Patty and Chips with Scraps being broadcast on Radio 4.
Emma-Jane Arkady's poems have been widely published in magazines. A pamphlet, Knots on the Blue Rope, is due from Flarestack in May '98.
