Loving
Reading your lines
Where you open doors into darkness,
To rooms cancelled
By the powercut of an absence,
Watching your eyes, blue seas with dolphins
Smooth out as the blindness,
The bitter salt takes over,
The dolphins sink,
I can do nothing but wear my pain
Like indigestion. No way
Of lighting your rooms
With hundred-watt bulbs,
Of warming your life
With my meagre candle.
