Remembers:
The thick grey neck
in the big black room
of the taxi
that carried her home.
The weeks months years
that followed.
The screams
that racked,
vignettes in black:
Breaking
her first and only signet ring;
the flower on her parents’
beloved carving.
Breaking
on the wheel of adolescence.
These years she screams alone.
Cradled
in the back room
of her big thick black
indifferent taxi.
Waiting
for a right time
to reduce the blankets.
To brave it
without Prozac.
To break the back
of black.
