overrated
yes Bukowski’s overrated by those who read him
and those who try to write like him
but I’m sure he deserves it and I’ll give you one reason
even on the deathbed
the man wrote immortal poems
full of honesty
lacking bullshit and pretension
most men can’t do that at any age
and all those rooms
all those lonely nights
they fuck you up and
you don’t care how many wankers
you leave in your wake
