where intervals, entr’actes, empty hours?
particles of nothingness
if it were you
who possessed Aladdin’s lamp
if you gave form
to Death with opaque lips
that one on the yellowed-grass path
of the glance from windows: a shrug,
but hasn’t the post just arrived?
