Hi there. You’ll have noticed the issuing forth of Monkey Kettle getting ever more erratic over the last year or so, and for that, my apologies. I won’t bore you with all the details, mainly because they are pretty boring, but suffice it to say they were all my fault.

Anyhow, I will soon have a lot more time to spend on the magnificent Kettle and all who sail in it, and I shall try my level best to use that time to reinvigorate the brand, to use a horrible buzzword I heard in a seminar at work recently. To this end, the magazine will now be tri-annual, which I hope means three times a year, rather than quarterly. Or should I be saying it will become thirdly?  I don’t know. Anyway, three times a year. I promise.

Everything else should remain unaffected, the usual mix of irreverence, eclectic poetry and shameless self-promotion. I hope the crazy ride continues, and I hope you’re enjoying it. Better than normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.
