I exist
In your legends
Your folklore
And in the cool grey waters of the loch
Amongst its sheltered rocks.

I emerge
In your imagination
In your dreams
And in the early morning, when the sun dapples the water
And the mist retreats

I am aware
Of your interest
Your speculation
And, somewhat charmed by your curiosity,
I rise above your expectations.

I descend
With your reason
Your logic
And I race with your thoughts
And disappear with your theories.
