Flutters For Grownups
CHEERY FOX went head-to-head with CHESTNUT VIXEN
but PSYCHO CAT had an outside chance
we remortgaged to go to BILLY SMART'S CIRCUS then fell for
smelling his indelible flower,
the monikers got less garish: when WHAT KATIE DID
took on WHAT'S FOR TEA, I creamed-up as the drone of seren-
dipity.
Everything the child ticked came in, he thought the pen
made things flutter like banknotes into butterflies wings.
The Baby Books made of primary colour boards
had no narrative just single words - TOOTHBRUSH
BLANKET BED - so not only did we learn
but flicking so quick made the process fun
(especially for the grownups). The child thought
that puppets were people that did nothing for you,
we had discovered a system of corporate communism
through hours abusing mascara & perfume testers
at the Toiletries' Emporium. And just to feel Spring
discover the chi of cash & Billy's Circus coming to town -
showed that victory, at last, could be crepuscular
as DARK BLUE cantered in
