felt her mouth on your mind
that you would kiss me
with the kisses of your mouth
for your love is sweeter than wine
have you ever
embraced the arms of mania
pressed tightly her fawning body
felt her mouth on your mouth
that you would be free
with the freedom of self forgetfulness
for your embrace is sweeter than the cataracts fall
have you ever
returned to sanity
to the naggly wagging of her outstretched finger
felt her slap on your bum
that you would be normal
whatever that may be
