When
The love duet of a cat and a dog
being gone through on the big
grass yard, light flickering on their
flanks which turn this way
and now that, orange, white, black
like tag
or the flight of examined birds:
the house full of the absence of this
as of footsteps
or a commentary on
– something – mutability perhaps,
the dog lickety-spit chipper with
her tail, the cat all rub and glow
as he would be of course
as you would be
as things go. Hop skip.
