The Garden Centre
Fantasising about five-bar gates and rills
When all at once I remarked a crowd of golden daffodils,
One of the loveliest times of the year,
Mother Nature had put on her gown and birdsong filled the air.
Looking round the stalls from L to Z,
Holly, next, was reminiscent of breaking bread!
Noticing outlying stalls in the label,
Flowers and straggling plants epitomised a place in the Bible.
Photographs were taken in an imaginary schism,
Spilling into the realms of contortionism!
Bonds were forged before leaving,
'Spoilt for choice' was ours in the making.
