Greatful Death
If he was young if he's old
about death thinks all the time
watchin' smoke of death cold
lookin' in fadin' line
his wise blue eyes lookin' all around
again and again higher than ground
and what does he see in the sky
life's minaret or sun goin' by?
maybe he's younger than he really is
maybe he's older than he really was
but his minds flow through so many seas
he knows his beforelife's lost
new times so many cost.
so much pain, so much love
he knows that's enough
to put that in music beautiful
just waitin' for death greatful
his body will be buried
but his soul will be in all
what about people most carried
in that what rolled world
so will be death or memory
he'll be written in card of history
I have ten thousand theories
about him
maybe he's afraid on his tongue
never come some beauty song
and he doesn't know he's wrong
just waitin' for death so long
to be Great Deads among.
