Three People at a Bus Stop
Jilly Gobchopper
recently celebrated her 59th birthday.
She's my invisible friend.
She likes to stick bubblegum in people's hair and watch them get into a mess.
She had a hair transplant at the same Harley Street clinic as Wayne Rooney.
Unfortunately the clinic mixed up the batches and now she has a full head of
Rooney's arse hair.
She likes to go to the canal and pretend to be a mermaid, snatching children from
passing barges,
and intends to start a new language, called Doop-Doop.
She collects Spice Girls memorabilia. Her prized possession is a small vial of Scary
Spice's saliva.
Jack O'Donnell
is thirty-three years old.
He lives in a skip round the back of Morrisons on Holloway Road.
He collects He Man memorabilia,
and gets a small tick in his left eye whenever he thinks about women.
He has a daily routine of pills: 9am – a green one for happiness; midday –
a blue one to stop the frog visions; 10pm – Viagra.
He believes that renegade monks are hunting him down,
and once sold his soul for a packet of Frazzles and a can of Coke.
Mrs Edwina Greentree
has memory loss and can't remember her age.
She lives in a parallel universe, surrounded by small bright lights
at the back of a hotel.
She gave up being human to become an ape,
and loves to drink liquid concrete.
She takes crumpets for breakfast, an omelette for lunch, and rat babies for dinner.
Aye, aye lad!
