The ebony-skinned soprano has the man by the neck; bending him over the bed, she throttles him with wide-eyed, and blind ferocity, saying : what was was, what is is ! |

The Baron materializes in the gloomy kitchen in three different and remarkable ( to her ) positions : lying, standing, sitting . His body is always erect and weightless . |

He, the one being throttled by the ebony-skinned soprano in 2, recalls one of the guards slopping blood ladelled with a plastic food container from a gas drum upon the corridor wall of the prison . |

She dominates, not when she carresses, said the professor to his totally bald and interested class, but when she confesses, you see. . . |
| 6. |
An alligator darts off its island and submerges . The Baron and he, and she, the ebony-skinned woman, are gayly sitting together on lunch counter stools heavily armed for hunting . |
