Wimbledon and New England College
My happiest times were in Wimbledon
Close to the tennis courts, grass courts
And a beautiful flat we had.
I started playing tennis at the age of fourteen
A wonderful tennis court
A lot of coffee parlours
And beautiful restaurants and coffee shops
A tall beautiful building in Wimbledon.
We had Iranian food there.
The best time of my life:
New England College
I’ll never forget those happy days in the college.
I used to travel once a week
to my parents in Wimbledon.
There were very good professors
In New England College
All kinds of subjects
We had a good cafeteria
A basket ball track, a football track
A pub where students could be sociable
And enjoy our time in New England College.
Good professors of English, literature and the arts.
I nearly finished it.
I had courses of all kinds
I passed all of my courses.
Once a week I travelled to Wimbledon to visit my parents
And have a happy time with my family
I enjoyed the courses in the College
And enjoyed my social life there
I made good friends with people in New England College.
I nearly finished my studies
Writing papers, all the time writing papers
Watching television
I felt secure, having the presence of my family.
My parents always suggested
Your happiness is our happiness.
If you are happy, we will be happy.
Several good friends I made in college
Happy times and good friends.
