Holiday in Darsham, Suffolk
On the 5th of July, I went on holiday. Another 8 residents and 3 staff went with me. We all travelled by mini-bus and after about 4 hours we arrived at Darsham, in Suffolk. We were staying at a converted railway station. It was an old Victorian building with 7 bedrooms. I stayed in the same room with Curry and Mark. On the first day we went shopping for food and drink. The staff cooked us a nice meal. I had vegetarian sausages.
We were all tired after the journey, so went to sleep early. The next day we went to a farm with a lot of animals. There were pigs, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, deer. I liked it a lot. I took many photos. After that we went to a restaurant, where most people had fish and chips. It was really good food. The next day we went to a boating lake, where there were also ducks and swans. I fed the ducks and swans with special food that they provided at just £1 for 3 bags. It was good fun. I had a tea with Mark at the local cafe on the site.
One day we had a BBQ. I had vegetarian sausages and burgers. Later on that day we played Trivial Pursuit and a game where you pile up pieces of wood and have to take pieces out without the tower falling down. Later that day we went to an Indian Restaurant and I had vegetable curry, a naan bread and perrier water in a bottle. On the last day we went to the sea. We went to a cafe with Mark, Loretta and Jacky. We all had tea and relaxed. I took photos and paddled in the sea. The water was quite warm. We were given a packed lunch. I had cheese and pickle sandwich, an apple and a banana, and crisps and a carton of orange juice. I had a great time on the beach. We then went back to the hostel in London. I had an Amazing Time on the holiday, I can’t wait to go back there again.
