Editor's Note
It is with sadness that I note the death of the Welsh poet Leslie Norris in Provo, Utah on 6th April 2006. Born in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, in 1921, Leslie was one of Wales' most respected poets. My collection Visitors was launched at the same time as his Selected Poems by Seren Books in 1986. He was that rare thing in the literary world, an exceptional poet (whose poetic voice was as quiet as that of Edward Thomas, a favourite of his) and a real gentleman.
