Tanka School : 57577
There were some serious responses to Kate Hall’s invitation in BS 15/4 to post in some 57577 tanka, including some long poems. Some writers have relished the creative constraint of metrical discipline for some years (for instance the ‘Seasons’ sequence by Bamboo Shoot above) while for others the exercise was fairly new.
