It Was Great
It was great to have you inside me
this morning before I woke up completely.
Delightful to feel you burrow and thicken
in the cleft of my butt.
Loved it when your hands grabbed my breasts
like the lace of a front-fastened strapless,
then stroked me
slowly... faster
before they tipped me up on my knees
on all fours like a dog. I almost barked with pleasure.
And thanks for the sweet hot coffee
you went and brewed and served me after
to sip in bed, propped up on pillows, thighs parted
around the wet spots on the sheet.
I guess later I'll have to change the bed,
this spring mattress on a platform we had made to measure
by a Marseilles carpenter - remember? -
when we were newly wed.
