Time stops.
Thoughts are laid out
here as nowhere else;
objects to be
squeezed by
hand and placed in
patterns.
Coloured patterns.
Blocks of understanding in
space.
Quiet space and
floating free of hurt.

form.
Steph Power was born in London in 1965 and has lived for over twenty years in Wales. She now works as a composer and writer having been a performer specialising in new and Twentieth Century chamber music. Her poetry springs from essentially the same source as her music and attempts to give voice to forms of emotional truth.
