To peel a grape (Or now starts here)
It is better to walk on grass than tarmac,
Better to jump for joy than sadness.
Also, morning things are better:
Soap, scurf, window, laces,
Hinges, comb, clobber, letters,
Digital watch, used train ticket,
Biro, tooth-brush, main drain, gas,
Two Birkinstocks, an apple core,
Mussed-up hair, mist in the valley,
Impermeable damp-proof course,
Waste-paper basket, scissors, Aspirin, NOACO, and a spade-
But not perhaps seen in that order.
But sometimes I can't be arsed.
Note: NOACO = the chemical elements making up air .
Ronald Frank cultivates his garden in Surrey and is a compulsive traveller to remote places, hunting small plants on large mountains.
