Untitled
I invented a chair, a lever
cameras work at night, designed
attachments, flashes :two seats
braided :epaulettes
where the sun - on each shoulder
rests, its glare
too heavy, splits :my shadow
drops too, a chair
breaks, a thunder
shaped X :signature
struck for lovers and illiterates
for all that is unknown - the crash
was waiting underneath.
Who wouldn’t weave a chair
when tired? crossing threads
to carry the dead
- without a word in writing
to love someone! the sun
too long on my shadow :night
after night - mourners too
know that X :my chair
shaken empty tonight
trembling - I invented from this dark
a lightning! one shadow
to find another now.
