moments outpouring my heart. My face

Gone in an eel flick dapple of light
and the humour? Abduction -
the skimming of thought.
Not so cool boy, not at all smart, this
attraction of capture by alien kind.
Think now, think -
Remember escaper
my whistler through time
the stars also die.
Hey moth in grey smoke -
You hallucinogen lost
to an angel of dust on an Indian hill -
Weren’t you yesterday’s pilgrim
at Santiago Compostela
your poor feet in tatters like a dangling frog?
And I was about to be reincarnated
as the sugar cake consort of your Tutankhamen.
