They’ll miss you fornicating in the foyer —
The daily voyeurs —
Craning to view the bits
Rodin robbed them of.
Wrapped in each other’s arms
You were oblivious to winter winds
Rushing the merry-go-round
Of revolving doors.
You kept your cool in summer too,
The sober corridor
Never dulling your ardour—
Simply fanning your flame.
Soft hardness, cool warmth,
Forceful, your marble-smooth
Supplication to tenderness,
A kiss for all time.
