These are the early morning blues.
This is the suicide note placed strategically by the bed.
These are the hours spent alone listening to tinnitus, watching
rainy shadows scroll across a television screen.
This is the wind that throws seagulls against rooftops.
Three raindrops race each other down a window pane, and collect
together in one puddle on the sill.
