Your mobile lips

I put your mobile lip, tumour inducing
mind addling, to the whorl of my better ear
not brilliant, but still with a modicum
of hearing and I speed dial the number one
(for that is where for better or worse you are)
and all of my being listens through the adequate ear
and of course I worry about the electrons
the microwaves and the carcinogens
for we live in such certain times, we will suffer
certainly. But hearing your mobile voice
through your mobile lips whistling in my shell-like
a sweet old refrain from the nickleodeon
creates maybe just temporarily the illusion
of if not togetherness, communication.
I put my lips to your absent mobile ears
and brush the cool graphite-coloured surface
with endearments and lip gloss. Is it good to talk?
Is it good to one to one? It is better than nothing.
