Consider how the many-millioned
Consider how the many millioned sound
of one, each a single flake in free-fall
beyond my two ears, sings one call;
how the million many one flakes downed
beyond my window make one white
for my two eyes which see all one only.
Consider the two-ness of lonely.
In silence and white singing, bright
beyond my one, there is downness of flake-
fall; glide; drift - and each is an all
of other. There is on field and lake
silence simple and white: there is fall-
ing so different from one, as I wake-
ing nightly consider each single flake’s call.
