The Stranger
when you’re gone
I feel unreal, no more
than a ghost
inside a hollow frame
walking down the street and
meeting people,
making the necessary
gestures, speaking
the necessary words, but none of it
really
happening
and when I’m alone
in bed
I might just
vanish
forever
but after a few nights
of not vanishing
I manage to
find myself
again
and then you come back
and you’re like someone
I don’t know
