Dear Customer Surface,
Can you help
me? I am having problems with my telly.
I’ve already read the manufactory’s guidelines,
I’ve been through the destructions
forty times.
Weareswitchedonandconnected
to the aerial
but the rebel is behaving
somewhat adversarial.
The tuning doesn’t make
a jolt of sense to me
for hours I’ve tinkered, yet the sounds are out of
key. My control is remote,
the doofer does not do,
I put a clean dish on the roof.
Nothing’s coming
through. I’ve fiddled with the plug so much I’ve lost
my fuse. I’ve checked for the obvious –
breadcrumbs, loose screws.
Dear Team Leader, can you give me a lead
or at least a TV of a different breed?
I’ve found that plugs and wires are not my vacation.
I’ve made the 10 o Clock news
into animation.
